Hope Church exists to advance the gospel to the entire world through preaching, worship, and community.

Hope Church began as a brand new congregation of believers in August of 2022, officially launching in February of 2023. River City Baptist Church, together with the efforts of First Coast Churches, the North American Mission Board, numerous individual donors, and the members of the legacy Oak Harbor Baptist Church planted a brand new church under the leadership of pastors Bryan Samms and Aaron Chan. Currently, Hope Church is an extension campus of River City Baptist Church, with the intention to become its own self-governing entity when it is able to. God has greatly blessed these early days of Hope Church, and we continue to look forward to all of the different ways we can serve Mayport and the beaches community of Jacksonville!
